REMAX Preferred Expands to Arrowhead Park

RE/MAX Preferred Expands into Arrowhead Park

Toledo, Ohio.  Kathy Kuyoth and John Mangas, Broker/Owners of the RE/MAX Preferred Associates franchise, proudly announce the opening of their fourth real estate office in three years.  They will celebrate this expansion with clients and business colleagues on Thursday, October 28, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Mangas noted “Our new facility on Holland Road in Maumee is easy to find – across from UPS.  It is barrier free and has state-of-the-art Internet access and digital telephones in every office and at each workstation.”  Kuyoth says, “With 3,400 square feet and 16 private offices, we can easily accommodate 25 - 30 agents who wish to specialize in this expanding residential and commercial area.  Amy Dietrich is our Arrowhead office administrator.  She’s a Maumee resident with seven year of real estate experience, and we know she will keep this office running smoothly.”  Mangas and Kuyoth are the managing brokers for the Arrowhead facility as well as for their other Ohio locations.  RE/MAX Preferred also has a satellite office at Smith and Secor in Lambertville, Michigan.

Jane Haley, who won the 2003 RE/MAX International Platinum Club award, is moving her real estate practice from the Executive Parkway office to the new Arrowhead office.  She adds, “Kathy and John have done a great job creating a terrific place to work!  They always keep me informed and help me build my business – and they do that for all our agents.”

This expansion corresponds with the growth that RE/MAX Preferred Associates has enjoyed since it opened the doors in December 2001.  With combined real estate experience that exceeds 50 years, Mangas and Kuyoth chose to become part of RE/MAX International because, as Mangas states, “the RE/MAX concept creates the opportunity for us as brokers to attract the top agents in the market.  It allows these agents maximum commission earnings and access to the newest technology.”

In their first full year of operation, RE/MAX Preferred grew to more than 50 agents and was ranked in the “Real Trends 500” for sales volume success.  Kuyoth remarks, “We now have 76 agents and hold a solid fourth place in market position in northwest Ohio real estate firms.  We are on track to close 1,900 transactions this year, and our new Arrowhead office will help us increase market share.”

2003 was also an excellent year for RE/MAX Preferred.  Kathy Kuyoth and John Mangas received RE/MAX International’s 2003 Broker/Owner of the Year Award for the RE/MAX Central & Northern Ohio Region and the 2002 Hustle Award for the hard work and high energy required to achieve exceptional results.  Their office received the RE/MAX region’s Eagle Award for highest net gain of sales associates.

According to Nick Bailey, CRB, RE/MAX International Vice President and Regional Director, “The opening of RE/MAX Preferred Associates’ new location demonstrates the continued success by John Mangas and Kathy Kuyoth.  We are thrilled to have such outstanding owners in the RE/MAX system, and we recognize their outstanding leadership, not only in their business, but in their community, as well.”

RE/MAX Preferred will celebrate its third anniversary in December with major growth and achievements, including its new Arrowhead office in the heart of the most rapidly developing area in northwest Ohio.

The RE/MAX Preferred Associates Arrowhead office is located at 1657 Holland Road, Maumee, Ohio, and on the Internet at MetroToledoHomes.com.
