Cinco De Mayo Event
Local RE/MAX® Agency Raises Charity Funds at Cinco de Mayo Event.
RE/MAX® Preferred Associates holds fundraiser for 9th consecutive year. 2010 recipients are Children‟s Miracle Network and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Toledo, OH, May 17, 2010: RE/MAX® Preferred Associates hosted more than 300 guests at Club Soda for its Ninth Annual Cinco de Mayo party to benefit the local efforts of Children‟s Miracle Network (CMN) and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organizations.
Co-Broker/Owner, Kathy Kuyoth, said, “This is a way for us to give something back to the community. We really wanted this year‟s event to be special, so we invited „The Menus‟, a rock „n roll band from Cincinnati to perform. They were a big draw and added a lot to the success of the evening.”
John Mangas, Co-Broker/Owner, added, “It is always great fun to pull this event together. The support of our Realtors® and industry friends throughout the real estate community makes this a successful event for CMN and Komen for the Cure.”
Since RE/MAX® International, Inc. became the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children‟s Miracle Network in 1992, U.S.RE/MAX® affiliates have raised more than $100 million for the charity. Since beginning the Cinco de Mayo party in 2002, Re/Max® Preferred Associates has raised over $140,000 for community needs. Nichole Lyndes of the Toledo Chapter of the Children‟s Miracle Network noted, “RE/MAX Preferred has truly made a difference and has helped brighten children‟s lives at a very tough time.”
